How Mama T's came to be
Mama T's Pet Parlor & Boarding was born from a lifelong passion for dogs and a dream to create a place where pets could receive loving, professional care. Founded by Tammy Livermore (known affectionately as "Mama T"), our business began as a small grooming operation and has grown into a full-service pet care facility serving the Hersey, MI area and beyond.
With over 15 years of experience in pet care, Tammy noticed a need in the community for quality, compassionate dog grooming and boarding services. Many pet parents were looking for a place where their furry family members would be treated with the same love and care they receive at home.
What sets Mama T's apart is our genuine love for animals and our commitment to providing personalized care for each dog. We understand that every pet has unique needs and preferences, and we take the time to get to know each furry friend who comes through our doors.
Today, Mama T's continues to grow, but we remain committed to our founding principles: providing exceptional service in a loving environment where dogs can feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared for.
The Beginning
Tammy begins offering home-based grooming services for friends and family after years of experience with her own dogs.
First Location
Mama T's opens its first small grooming salon in Hersey, quickly gaining a reputation for quality and care.
Expanding Services
In response to client requests, we expand our services to include dog boarding, providing a home-away-from-home for pets.
Current Facility
Moved to our current, larger location with improved grooming stations and comfortable boarding facilities at Schofield Road.
Continuing to Grow
We continue to grow our services and client base while maintaining our commitment to personalized, loving care for every pet.
